Sam unlocked the prototype arms and placed them on the table.
Underneath it, the damage was revealed. His arms broke. Not from Icarus' attacks, but from the attacks he made.
The attacks on par with Pretranscendence late stage, were too much for his Initiation body to handle. But still, it wasn't too much of a problem.
They are just some normal fractures which he can easily endure.
"What do you feel now, Icarus? To get your ass handed to a guy who is so much weaker than you?"
Icarus didn't say anything. He didn't understand the point Sam was making.
Sam on the other hand didn't even look at him. He was focused on healing his arms. He aligned the bones and the fractures were healed pretty quickly. And he spoke while he did that.
"See Icarus, I can't believe that you take yourself so seriously.
I like you. I do like the rest of the managers. You are someone with guts to challenge the faith that was forced up on you since you were kids.
