The teenage girl standing before him no longer possessed her past aggressive aura. Though her eyes remained defiant, the combination of her makeup and earrings was simply perfect.
Her hair, previously flowing down her back, had been braided, lending her a much softer demeanor.
Paired with figure-hugging jeans and a T-shirt, she looked youthful and vibrant.
"Otherwise?" Liz asked indifferently. "Otherwise? Do you think I'm the kind of woman whose muscles have grown into her brain?"
