"Just came from the company!" Leo scooted his chair closer to Ethan's direction and chatted with him, grinning.
"Yes." Ethan responded to him blandly.
"Working overtime alone?" Leo asked again.
What he actually wanted to know was if Summer wasn't with him today.
"Yes." Another indifferent word, as if saying more would be excessive.
"So many assistants, yet you sympathize with the staff enough to let them leave and stay back to work overtime yourself?" Leo grinned widely, it was hard to tell if he was praising or teasing him.
Ethan glanced at him, raised an eyebrow, and replied casually, "Since when did you start caring about my assistants?"
"Oh, hehe. I'm just asking." Leo smiled awkwardly.
Who cares about his assistants?
He just wanted to gossip about Summer.
That silly woman wouldn't be so oblivious as to do nothing even after his prompting, would she?
"Go play your game." Ethan dismissed his words with disdain.
