After finally finishing breakfast, Ethan Laurent walked ahead towards the hotel room.
Summer Ford followed behind and, after a few steps, couldn't help but ask, "Do you have other things to take care of here?"
"Which kind of things are you referring to?" Ethan turned his head slightly, his gaze sweeping across her face, his words sounding somewhat meaningful.
Not sure if she was overthinking or not wanting him to misunderstand, she corrected her wording, "Business matters."
"More or less," Ethan gave her an ambiguous answer and continued upstairs.
What does "more or less" mean?
Summer Ford didn't understand his answer.
Does "more or less" mean she guessed right or guessed wrong?
Or perhaps, business wasn't the main reason he stayed.
"Ethan Laurent, explain yourself!" Summer Ford didn't understand what he meant, followed him up the stairs, and when they returned to their room, Ethan was lazily sunbathing on a deck chair on the open balcony.
