Ethan Laurent swept his cold gaze over her, just about to say something when she interrupted him, "I'm helping you pick out clothes. Didn't you forget to bring any?"
Her voice was gentle and soft, exceptionally clear and pleasant, like a light veil brushing over the surface of the lake, soothing and serene.
