Summer Ford was about to step into the room but abruptly stopped, walking over to him nonchalantly, "I thought you weren't here."
Ethan Laurent knew she was just making an excuse for wanting separate rooms, but didn't expose her lie.
As she got near, he extended his arm to pull her into his embrace, pressing her against the door behind. His thin lips parted, casually uttering, "Now that you're back, can we continue what was interrupted this afternoon?"
Summer Ford's body froze for a moment, looking at him in disbelief. She hadn't expected him to remember this.
"It's bedtime, why wear that little dress?" Avoiding his gaze, her voice was a bit uneasy.
"It's fine, you'll take it off soon anyway." Ethan Laurent replied without any change in expression.
"..." Summer Ford was left speechless by his remark.

"So, shall we go now?" He released her from his arms, his gaze leisurely falling on her face.
