"Wait for me, I'll be home in ten minutes." Ethan Laurent didn't say much, leaving Summer Ford looking a bit disheveled, then turned back into the ward.
As his figure disappeared, another small silhouette emerged from within.
Spotting her, Leo froze for a moment and exclaimed, "Huh? What are you doing here?"
His voice was quite loud, filled with surprise, and perhaps a touch of delight.
"Call me sister!" Summer Ford corrected his wording, glancing sideways at the ward from which someone might emerge at any moment, and gestured for him to be quiet.
Leo, as if he hadn't seen her gesture, walked towards her and in a very bossy manner said, "You still owe me a name! Grandpa said, don't let yourself suffer losses, you even know mine!"
The boy's voice was already a bit sharp, and his volume wasn't small at all, making Summer Ford anxious to rush forward to cover his mouth.
