Qin Yue's eyes were almost popping out, "I say, can't you two consider the feelings of us single folks? Tone it down a bit?"
Xu Qigang shot him a glance, and Qin Yue felt a palpable sense of menace. Fine, he, as a single man, was unwelcome everywhere; he might as well go chase after his little wife.
"Sis, time for dinner, you haven't eaten in two days. Come, let's go eat, just ignore him."
Sheng Ning was always curious about why Qin Yue called her sis. It was odd yesterday, but she didn't have the mind to ask. Now that he called her again, she asked out of curiosity, "Why do you call me sis? Shouldn't you call me sister-in-law or Comrade Sheng Ning?"
Qin Yue rubbed his nose, not admitting his intentions until he had managed to win the sister over. "Doesn't 'sis' just sound more endearing?"
"But I'm much younger than you!" If she remembered correctly, Qin Yue was only a year younger than Xu Qigang.
