Seeing multitude of Frost knights in the area rushing at him under Sephiria's command, Rex then gripped his weapon tightly as he charged towards the frost knight and begun clashing with them as them as fast as he can.
There are total of 24 Frost knights, so Rex immediately blitz through Frost Knight 1 to 3 and dealt a powerful blow that could knock out any ordinary human. However since the Frost knight are elemental beings that acts like a puppet to the caster, such an attack did little to nothing as they tried and rushed towards Rex
Of course Rex saw all of this and immediately parried ther attacks, however the moment he managed to parry the attacks completely, two Frost knights who wield spears appeared behind him and thrusted their spear at him.
Unfortunately such an bush failed, when Rex saw this and jumped away to avoid getting stabbed from behind. After that he quickly jumped away to put a distance between him and the other Frost knights, only to get attacked later with an ice arrow which came from the Frost knight who wielded bow and arrow.
Seeing them like this, it even made it hard for Rex to counter back since not only do they not feel pain, but their range of classes literally covers everything around them. With such army being composed like that, it even made it hard for Rex to even get closer to Sephiria who was also at that time looking for an opening to launch her magic.
Nevertheless Rex has no choice but to fight, as he dashed again and enhanced his weapon with mana and covering his whole body with electrifying mana element by releasing his limiters causing his mana veins to be visible to the naked eye and lightning arcs appear around him.
With speed he dashed through the field as he passed through 4 Frost knight swordman while locking his gaze at the Frost knights archers who begin firing at him rapidly with arrows.
Dodging the attacks in high-speed, Rex was now then prepared to turn and attack the archers when suddenly a wall appeared infront of him casted by Sephiria, causing Rex to crash through the wall itself.
Grumbling in annoyance, after crashing on the wall and stopping his momentum, one Frost knight Spearman caught up to him from behind and begun thrusting his spear towards him, forcing Rex to parry the initial attack, followed by suddenly kicking the Frost knight Spearman to the side and immediately running away from the wall.
But the moment he did this, another two Frost knight Spearman intercepted his path, forcing Rex to blitz through them with incredible speed while using his chains on its weapon to restrain some of the Frost knights coming its way.
But those restrains didn't last long when Sephiria launched 4 Frost spear towards him, forcing Rex to release his restraints and block the incoming attack with everything he has.
After that bombardment from Sephiria, all the Frost knights took this opportunity to surround him, making the situation as tense as possible. With nowhere left to go, the battle was not only brutal but Rex was in highly dangerous situation himself.
After all in terms of fighting method, Rex abilities and fighting style fits battles which are 1 on 1. However such skills and fighting method became meaningless when he fights a group of opponents who not only don't feel any pain, but also diverse in their class that it made it hard for Rex to even eliminate one puppet.
As if the Frost knights weren't enough, Sephria also often times lunches spells from afar which literally quite a disadvantageous for Rex himself. Just like that he was cornered to the point that he has no openings that he could use to deal with the enemy's around him.
As if that fact wasn't stressing enough, Rex also noticed that all tha damage he dealt with the format knights would immediately repair itself as longest there were ice near their area.
So with Sephiria lauching more ice spells at him, this in turn became quite a burden as Rex as to fight for what seems like an unending battle.
Of course Seol who was nearby saw this as she even started looking at Sephiria in a different way. The rumor around her was vastly different from what they see now.
In fact they know that Sephiria had already recovered from her sickness and showcased to have an immense mana pool that far surpasses today's mages. However with her current skill as a student, they regarded her as someone who has potential to be strong but can't fully utilize her talent.
Now that they are facing her, they were greatly mistaken as Sephiria literally dominated the field and somehow defeated Sinnoh who was the best mage among the elites of their respective academy.
Under continuous assault from Sephiria, Rex became like a rat unable to escape until he tired himself out and got eliminated by Sephiria with a single spell which soon a pillar of light appeared into the night sky which shocked not only everyone on the battlefield but rather also those who were spectating the fight from the cruise ship.
After all Sephiria already took out two elite students herself. Her range of spells and utility was something that was out of these world.
While some were amazed at hear feat, there were also others who realized the grim situation and begun looking at Sephiria with hostility. One of them in particular was Allen who had currently overpowered Rosalhn in terms of swordmanship.
Upon seeing two of his comrades getting eliminated by a single person, Allen then spared Rosalyn and immediately turn his attention towards Sephiria. With her skills, it's only natural that he should deal with her quickly before she has an opportunity to wipe out all of them.
In a drastic change, Allen instantly disappeared from Rosalyn's view and appeared near Sephiria who was immediately protected by the Frost knights she summoned.
At this moment, Sephiria is now facing Allen upfront without backing down
