In this endless brawl, Lorius destroyed one clone after another while also getting hit by Wukong's clones himself. Even though he was strong, Wukong as a creature was also hella strong to the point that even God like beings have a hard time fighting him.
The title "Sage Heavens Equal" is nothing to scoff at.
However there was one flaw that none of them could have ever imagined. Even though Wukong was a powerful being, all the champions that Shun has summoned have limited mana stock distributed to them by Shun's abundant mana pool. With such creatures made out of mana, they were basically a walking battery for Lorius.
Of course this was also another secret of Lorius that he kept for emergency for the moment he fought both Akito and Shun. He learned this magic after fighting a shaman in the wilderness. Mana drain and Life drain.
Using this two skills simultaneously, he sneakily slowly steals health from all of Shun's champions and refill his mana from them. With so much abundant mana battery infront of him, it would take quite awhile until he absorbed everything.
Thankfully he had already started this process for quite awhile now. So under his continous spell. One by one starting from the champion who has smaller mana pool, they soon disintegrated as they realized that someone had been stealing their mana.
However they don't have any more time to intervene as Lorius had already taken everything.
Upon seeing this Wukong and the other surviving champions rushed towards Lorius as they try to attempt to take him down before they disintegrate into nothingness.
Unfortunately it was already too late as even Wukong the last one standing and his clones were an inch too short before they could reach Lorius.
From there on Lorius had drained all the champions mana and health, fully recovering himself from the state of beginning. Alongside it, Shun would have no choice but to fight Lorius at his peak condition.
Without a second thought Shun pulled out both I.E and Shiv, as he rushed forward at the same moment when Lorius rushed ahead together with Omnisword.
Not long after the first clash ensued, as rocks and hails spread out everywhere and both Lorius and Shun struggling to anchor themselves on the ground. Nevertheless despite that both of them continued on as they closed again and again and again, until one of them drops dead.
Amidst of that clash, Lorius managed to sneak a kick towards Shun's guts, as he launched him up into the sky, while sending out multiple auto target magi missiles towards him.
In response to this, after enduring that kick which sent him flying, Shun activated "Barrier", "Courage", and "Eclipse" to protect himself from the attack, enabling him to tank the magic missiles.
However Lorius assault wasn't over just yet as he made his mana in his sword go on a rampage and released it all upon Shun in a form of a mana slash.
Upon seeing this, Shun used "Solar Flare" and "Life Form Disintegration Ray" to counter Lorius attack. Fighting fire with fire. Attack with destructive capability against attack with destructive capability.
The moment the explosion happened, Lorius shot through the explosion like a jet, as he wield his rampaging mana and struck forward, which was easily dodged by Shun who suddenly blinked from behind before attacking with his blades.
However Lorius saw through this as he quickly maneuvered his body to turn around and delivered a martial skill.
"(Martial Skill) Swirling Counter!!!"
Using the force of its own attack against him, Shun was hit with the full brunt force of his attack as Lorius redirected the force back at him, which shoots him off the sky and crash to the ground.
Quickly raising his hand into the air, he then conjured a gigantic magma ball and threw it towards Shun.
"Giga Blaze!!!"
But despite getting beaten down, Shun shot off from the ground in a stream of light as he changed his weapon into Stormrazor and used "Windwall" to nullify Lorius spell.
After that he released a huge tornado towards Lorius, forcing the latter to slash the tornado into four sections which forced him to show an opening for Shun to exploit.
Entering te small opening Lorius made, Shun slashed down his sword towards Lorius only for the latter to smile as he said.
"You've really grown stronger"
The reason why Lorius said this is because Shun only managed to stand against Lorius back then was because Akito was there to back him up. If he was alone, Shun would have no way to survive against Lorius. However what Shun is displaying now had showcased his incredible growth. He had grown stronger, far stronger than his past self.
This was what he wanted. In all his lives that he lived so far, none of them could be called his rival. For him rivals means people that he can grew up together with in strength. People who grow stronger while putting each other as their goal to surpass.
In this life, Lorius gained two rivals who can catch up to his extreme talent. Even though he has a lot of battle experience, both Shun and Akito grew stronger with a goal to surpass Lorius himself.
With that Lorius unleashed another skill which broke Shun's Stormrazor and silenced all spectators.
"(Martial Skill) Destruction Fist!!!"
After that he then followed up another attack aiming at Shun's midsection.
"(Martial Skill) One Inch!!!"
Surprised Shun prepared for the worst as he used "Granite Shield" to absorb all the damage from that attack and countered back with "Thunderclap" which struck hard at Lorius face.
However such an attack wasn't enough to blow him back as Lorius countered with another skill
"(Martial Skill) Dark Sovereign Suppressing Fists!!!"
In Response to this, Shun used "Titan's Wrath" to block the attack causing another shockwave, as he countered back with another even more powerful attack "Pulverize!!!"
Clasping his hand together and slamming it towards Lorius, the person himself was forced to block it with both arms leaving Shun able to attack from beneath once more.
Using "Dragon Rage" Shun kicks Lorius away, as he crashed to the ground and finally grounded an indestructible battle mage. However the fight was just beginning.
