"I can argue with you, fight with you, make you angry, I can do so much more. Do you want to see?" Jasmine Yale said angrily, glaring at Sylvan Cheney.
He once again made her feel worthless.
"Ahem." Sylvan Cheney cleared his throat, "Jasmine Yale, do you know that I am your boss? Is this the way you talk to your superior?"
"And do you know that I am your subordinate? As a boss, only knowing how to criticize subordinates instead of encouraging and appreciating them, do you think that's appropriate? What's the most important thing in a team? It's maintaining morale, but as a superior, you don't consider your subordinates' feelings and emotions. Shouldn't you reflect on that?"
"Jasmine Yale, you should curb your sharp tongue. I don't like people who are aggressive. I like those who are obedient, compliant, and dutiful. Do you understand? People who are sensible get rewards, and if you're not sensible, don't blame me for taking away all your rewards!"
