"How did you get upset, I'm looking out for you. You're young, easy to be deceived."
"Who could be more deceptive than you."
"How did I deceive you? Huh?" Sylvan Cheney looked at her leisurely, clearly amused.
Jasmine Yale's cheeks flushed.
Isn't being handsome just capital for deceiving people? At the very least, he had already deceived her into liking him.
"Come here, keep me company while watching TV." Sylvan Cheney walked toward the sofa, beckoning her over in the process.
