At first, Chuzheng only fed one zombie and still had to chase it around. The zombie didn't react at first. But after a day, it actually developed a bit of a special ability... something like being able to spark a small flame from its fingertips.
It's mostly just good for being used as a lighter.
Ji Lin: "???"
The result was the same for a few other zombies in a row. Eating 'Grain' can grant a special ability, but it doesn't last more than half a day.
"Hey, poker face, what exactly are you doing?"
"I need to come to a conclusion."
"??"
Chuzheng propped her chin up: "At first, there were no crystal cores in the zombies' brains."
"Yes." Ji Lin nodded, during the first month, there was nothing inside the zombies' heads.
Later, the zombies gradually developed crystal cores...
"The special abilities of survivors appeared after the apocalypse hit."
Ji Lin nodded.

"Don't you think they have crystal cores because they ate humans?"
