"According to TV drama tropes, splitting up at this point usually leads to trouble. It's best we don't separate," Chuzheng said earnestly.
"You've watched too many TV shows," Ji Lin was speechless for a moment but didn't argue with her.
Ji Lin first listened for any noise behind the door, and hearing nothing, he inspected the door but found no issues. He reached out to pull the door, but it didn't budge.

Chuzheng pushed Ji Lin aside and pulled the door open effortlessly.
