The first golem approached him with a heavy punch.
Martin ducked low and then countered with a simple energy blast.
It broke the golem's arm, then tore through its chest.
The lava inside exploded violently, splattering onto the stone walls.
"Slower than the wolves," Martin commented internally.
"But heavier. More destructive if they manage to strike."
He turned, dodging another blow, and countered again with a roundhouse strike that tore a golem's head off its body.
Another group began to close in from three sides.
Martin inhaled.
Then, with one flick of his finger, a wave of black energy surged outward cutting the air like a sword.
It sliced through the golems, splitting their lava-filled bodies like butter.
The temperature in the room began to rise, but Martin's body endured without strain.
Martin didn't want to bathe in their heat unnecessarily.
"It took five minutes.."
