Chapter 15 - Trip in Hell Part 2 To obey or not to obey & Trouble in space?

Months passed in the area. Several Demons had encircled the place. The woman had recovered getting near the dome. She felt it speak to her when she touched it. Obey and happines is obtainable. Disobey and torment will be the least of what you receive. Several demons had agreed.

Dark Black contracts appearing. They signed and found out no matter what they would do in the future, they could not get free unless Max allowed. Or if he broke the agreement.

Max had gained thousands of demons and various creatures' souls. They turned human from their demonic current forms. Some in the prime of youth. Other middle-aged but healthy. Instantly they were warped away to various areas of Earth.

Their job supringsly was to help humans. Payment for what they had done while escaping to earth or other places. Max knew only a few would actually amount to something worthwhile.

Others would work that way for eternity. Which was fine by him.

(Scenario started.. Morgan le Fey wishes to talk.) The A.I. opened the dome for her to enter. A very powerful demon tried to rush in as well. (Intruder detected.)

*Boom!* The A.I. slammed the dome shut. This chopped the demons head off and absorbed its essence in Max's inventory. The A.I. would go through every last detail of its memory and physiology to develop strategies on dealing with its kind.

"Hello." Morgan stated. She like the others had learned not to miss with this creature. Weakness was in front of her, but an indescribable danger also. "I am not one to obey, but how about we work together?"

"I suppose." Max stood up and looked at her. "You are such a breathtaking woman. Even old and deformed. There is a beauty in your twisted soul." Max stared her down studying her. A small glimpse with the eye technique revealed she was not any of the version Max knew. Not the one from New Earth, Earth Prime, Silver Age, or Justice League the animated series. "You do share a lot of different histories of your self. Your pursuit of eternal life has done a lot to you. But you are of the Homo Magi in the end. A deviation in Atlanteans and ultimately us humans."

"You speak a lot creature of things you believe to be true." Morgan said. Her thoughts were on trying to figure if the demon really was human. "I would like to offer an Alliance. You help me, and in turn, I will help you." Her words carried an alluring scent to them. She was using magic to ensnare Max. 'If you are human, this will be easy.'

Max's eyes glowed pink and he walked over to her as the spell entailed him to do. Stopping right in front, Morgan felt her body shiver. Danger! Max's eyes glowed with raw spiritual energy. The entire dome disappeared as he released a beguiling technique of his own.

"Unending Torment!" Max said heatedly.

*Brrrr brrr!* Two waves of energy wrapped everyone present. The demons that were stronger had been effected the most. Black miasma poured from the nostrils as the eyes exploded in the skull. In its place, a white glow of magic was visible.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" The demons howled in madness and started to kill one another. Max beguiling was that of Wrath spiritualized. Restraints were released and the mind set free to base desires. "Grrrrrrooooo!"

"You have lost a chance already." Max shrugged his shoulders. His distorted voice matching the twisted face of the mask. "My dear Morgan, there goes my appreciation of how hard you work. All that is left is your skill of value."

"I.. apologize." Morgan said bitterly. Behind her mask, she sweated profusely. The only other thing to give her so much fear was seeing her aged withered face in a mirror. "How may I make amends?" She still held on to her pride, however. Max was already cultivating it to boost his cultivation again.

"I have some "people" that I need to be trained in the darker arts. Someone with your talents should be able to teach with no trouble yes." Max stated more than asked her. If she declined, he would just kill her and take what knowledge he could salvage. No point in letting her go after she tried enslaving him. "I will even help you get back with your family."

"You know of.." Morgan started to ask. She stopped when she spotted a demon running up behind them. "Cursed Etrigan." She stepped away to let Max deal with it. "I think we will have to continue this later."

"Just a few minutes. Do not go anywhere." Max turned to see Etrigan. His hand outstrethced and forced the human portion out. "One becomes Two." Max muttered the simple spell with ease.

"Arrgggh!" Etrigan and Jason screamed in pain. The large tan demon stopped in its tracks. In seconds that could have been an eternity to them, they were two. Jason was a fair British man. Dark red hair that had a white streak down the center. His athletic build from when he was a knight was still there. Max took all the man's personal magic that developed away for himself. "Haa.. Haa." Jason's breathing was difficult as he adjusted to the air.

"You.." Etrigan turn to his friend and ally. Max had placed a spell to prevent the demon prince's rhyming. Even though he really enjoyed it himself. "..I will kill you Blood!"

"Oh dear. No no. That just won't do." Max said with a little humor. The mask had turned to a very broad grinning one. Smile so big that it stretched away from the mask. Morgan looked on in disgusted awe. "Your freedom means he has to live. And his living entails your freedom."

"You human have my thanks for freeing me. But I must have my due against him." Etrigan said angry. His hand rose up high to pummel Jason. But Etrigan stopped upon receiving a vision. "What is this?"

"It is what has happened before and won't happen again. Different lives and possibilities." Max walked over slowly. He wrapped Jason up in a magic bubble. A quick little spell was used. "Protection of the Spirit." A light pink membrane wrapped Jason up completely. "You owe him a lot. If not for him, you would have been nothing but a crazed demon. He gave you humanity young prince of hell. In turn paid for his crimes on Earth."

"Grr what do you want human?" Etrigan asked as he stepped away. The visions Max gave him were powerful and contain energy from the Source Wall. This removed any doubt Etrigan may have had. "You do not do this for nothing. Their must be something you need."

"Of course. I receive something good coming here. But there is more to gain. I need you to rule Hell for me. Someone must lead it in a way to prepare in the future." Max felt Morgan stir behind him. She was trying to defend herself against a demon that set its eye on her. "Oh yeah." The mask turned into an embarrassed one.

*Pew!* Max raise his hand and fired a blast of white energy. Its radiance containing the purest of virtue. The arrow punched a hole in the demon's throat. It did not dissipate as it moved down and ran amock through the battlefield.

"Thanks.." Morgan said sourly. Her body may have received a little vitality from the dome earlier, but the battle had turned more heated. Anytime she tried to mutter an escape spell, it would die out in seconds. She had to keep moving from the demons. "How about getting me out of here?!"

Morgan picked up a sword and slashed. She may be a sorceress now. But she lived during the time of steel and magic. She knew how to use a blade when needed. Her and three-headed jackal started fighting.

"She will be fine." Max said looked back to Etrigan. "What will it take for you to obey me?"

"Obey you!?" Etrigan said angrily. His mouth lit up as he spewed fire at Max. "I obey no one!" The fire engulfed Max completely. Behind him, several demons were scorched from it.

"You should have listened to him demon." Jason said from the bubble. He was sitting down criss-cross as he looked at a contract Max put in front of him. With a thought, it was signed and he received the final bits of information. As well as part of his memory back. "You have met a terrible match."

Jason received knight armor. The same as what he wore from the days of Camelot. The same one he wore when betraying Arthur to Morgan le Fey. It was time to make repentance for that here and now. As soon as he landed, he charged into the demons to gain strength.

"Hahahaahaha!" Max started to laugh maniacally as he stepped through the flames. His mask twisted in ecstasy. "Thank you for choosing this option." White flame in his left hand and black flame in the other. Max charged at Etrigan. "I need the work out. Try not to break to fast!"

.

-Out in deep space-

.

In a floating satellite, a group of people were watching a screen of Max fighting Etrigan. These were the people of Almerac's old high council. The planet was that of a warring techno advanced society. But they did have magic ways that were dying out. The people embraced using technology better. Even though both used life energies of the cosmos.

"I say we meet him before we are all killed by the others. Servitude is better than beheading." An Elder said.

"That may be, but he consorts with demons so openly. He offered to have them work for him." Another Elder said. "I think we would be ill advised to make such a bargain. Despite him being human."

"But the white flame he has is so pure. Surely that means there is a sense of righteousness in him?" Another Elder stated. "Walking both paths of magic is the right way to go. To much in one way and you end up like those of New Genesis or Apokolips."

"We must do something." Another Elder spoke. "Soon the decision will be made for us. Word has come that they have found this coven. We can not run anymore."

"Then we should leave. Use the teleport.." An Elder cried out. An explosion cut off the rest of his sentence.

*Boooom!* In walked the Royal Family's death dealers.

"By order of the crown, you all are under arrest!" A red-haired woman yelled. To her side was a black-haired woman with green make up and a man with a stern complexion. She was the princess aide and confidant. "Stand down and come quietly or face punishment."

"We surrender!" The Elders said all together. They sent each other a telepathic message to do so. They were bidding time till they could get in contact with Max. What they didn't know, by making that decision, they just altered the fate of the galaxy they were in.

The Elders were arrested and had inhibitor collars placed on them to stop telepathic thought. As well as cut the connection to any type of tech.

"Princess Maxima we need to go." A guard said to her. He saw the princess staring at the screen and wanted to make sure she stayed from danger. "It is already bad that you came with."

"Hmmm, very well." Maxima raised her hand and fired at the screen. A white beam compressed the screen and added it to her wrist device. "Lock the area down! Let none enter!"

"Yes your highness!" Two guards obeyed and put up the shield to prevent entry. The man and woman who stood behind her were puzzled but said nothing.

'That placed looked fun. So much blood and death!' Maxima thought intrigued. She was getting bored as of late. The simple viewing of the fighting had change her original fate of a future spoiled princess. Her eyes radiated a red light hidden from everyone else.

(Additional Scenario starting.) The A.I. had received the information and was already at work.
