Seeker sat, reclining in a towering chair with various devices connected to him. He was within the grand laboratory of Mikhaelos that spread out as if it was endless. But Seeker knew that Mikhaelos's shrinking tech made the place turn into an orb shape and made the place look endless as the horizon would warp at the distance.
The chamber around him stretched like a cathedral carved from starlight and logic. Giant circuits adorned the walls like murals, pulsating in rhythm with the synthetic heartbeat of the Orb. Compared to the high-tech residence of the Fresks family, this looked like a throne room built for gods. The entire vessel dwarfed anything Seeker had seen in this realm. For a failed attempt to become Shackstress, Mikhaelos did pretty well in his technology. The entire room was at least three times the size of Talveron's estate, yet it folded space so efficiently that entire ecosystems could likely be stored within its walls.
