Being in the eerie ruins, even though he was only nearby, Angel's vigilance had never relaxed. However, even so, he never expected to be attacked by an unknown creature hidden in the water patterns when leaving.
However, the situation was better than he imagined.
The great force coming from the front, though fierce, was met with Angel's extremely fast reaction speed. Almost as he felt the wind carried by the force, his body instinctively responded.
Stepping back, with a slight sidestep, Angel leaned against the wall, dodging the oncoming force.
However, though he avoided this wave, Angel believed that the unknown creature would surely attack again. So he immediately employed a Defense Spell while quickly constructing the Second-Level Trick "Dispel Illusion" in his Mind Space because he hadn't yet seen what the creature attacking him looked like even after dodging.
