"The White-Haired Girl," an old play, is a favorite among everyone, and after each viewing, people always curse Huang Shirren for being a despicable character. However, this play is not exactly new; its plot is well-known. Ordinary folks, busy with their daily lives, don't watch it often, but those in leadership positions tend to have broader horizons. Take this particular leader, for instance; his attention was not on the plot but rather on Yang Bailao. Yang Bailao was hunched over, wearing a tattered hat and smeared with soot on his face. Yet, the leader still recognized him: "Isn't this the same person who was the announcer just now?"
