Raion: "I'm the one who did that to Koron. I'm the reason why Baskia's foot has been trapped in there. I remember every detail. I was going to kill you. I could have killed you all."
Veter: "But you didn't Raion. Baskia and I stopped you. So there is no need for you to worry."
Raion: "No need?! How is there no need for me to worry? You were there, weren't you?!"
Veter: "Yes... I was there. We all went through the same things, together."
Raion: "Together? What do you mean together?"
Veter: "I mean we all experienced the same thing. I understand how you're feeling now."
Raion: " You understand how I feel? You were there but you didn't experience what I felt. Do not come and tell me that we went through the same thing because the two of you and I were thousands of miles apart. You have no fucking right to tell me that we are sharing the same feelings! You did not experience what I went through, you dont know a damn thing about how I felt! Having to watch my friends get brutally attacked, without being able to do a damn thing. That feeling of losing myself, becoming "this" and wanting to kill every single person that steps in my path.
Baskia: "Raion, please calm down. There is no need to be rash."
Raion: "Calm down? You want me to calm down?! How can I call down in a situation like this? When I could have killed all of you. And on top of killing the three of you; Who knows what would have happened if I wasn't stopped..."
Raion stopped himself mid-sentence and in the heat of the moment he lashed out in Baskia. The anger, the frustration, the guilt everything he was feeling had come pouring out into one single emotion.
Raion grabs ahold of Baskia, pulling him in closer to his face, he whispers into Baskia ear "And you Baskia, of course you had to go and get yourself trapped! Because why wouldn't you. Are you even coming on this trip to save Fourth or are we your only route to see Wen? I bet you wish Fourth would die down there."
Letting go of Baskia, Raion steps aside. The look of despair surfaces itself onto Baskia. Taking notices of this, Veter instantly asks Raion to tell him what he had said to Baskia "What did you just say to him?!"
Not giving a response back to Veter, Raion turns away from them. Veter, starts to slowly stand up. "If you wont tell me, I'll just have to force you to "
"Veter, please! Stop it, its... he didnt say anything that wasnt true. Well not all of it that is. He's right, its my fault that I got trapped, I foolishly misread the entirety of the situation. I rushed in without a second thought. Thats on me, and Ill own up to my mistake, but..." He stops himself, as if hes trying to build up the courage to say it. "I'd never risk the safety of my friends! Nor have I ever come all this way to not want to rescue Fourth.. I never once hoped he'd die down there."
Upon hearing those words, Veter slams his fist against the stone wall with a loud thump; causing Baskia and Raion to jump back a bit.
He then stands himself up, holding the right side of his body. Raion still angry just glares at Veter, without taking his eyes off of him. Veter moves to Raion.
Baskia: "Veter, What are you doing?"
Veter ignores Baskia call, continuing to move forward to Raion. Finally reaching him, he shoves Raion against the wall. "I heard enough from you!"
Raion now everts his eyes from Veter. Because now he can see the anger in his eyes and it's worse than his own.
Veter moves Raions face so he's back looking at him. "Look me in the eye. You cannot give me that fucking bullshit about Baskia not caring about Fourth or any of us! When you remember every little fucking thing that has happened. Tell me you remember how guilty Baskia felt. Do you remember how he was the one who was willing to kill Koron and to save you! He did everything for you. Yet he thought he was such a disappointment to us. Baskia is not your punching bag to get your own frustrations out. We are in this together, so I never want to hear you say such things like that to him again. Do you understand
me?"
Raion was taken back by how assertive Veter was to him, as well as how passionate he felt about Baskia. Just simply nodded his head. With that notion Veter let's go of Raion.
Raion: "Baskia... I never..."
Baskia stops Raion from speaking.
Baskia: "I know. It's alright. We stopped you. Veter and I both stopped you from doing the worst possible thing you could imagine. I admit we have no idea how you felt during the whole situation. But Raion, you cannot put the blame all on yourself."
Veter: "That is true. Raion, listen to us, this was never your fault. The one we should be blaming is Koron. You saw everything that he's done to you, Baskia, and I. It was all a ruse for him to get what he needs. "
Raion steadily calms himself down, with his face red from frustration and sticky from the tears he had shed. He takes his sleeve and wipes it across his cheeks, removing and tears that managed to escape. He positions himself upright and looks at Veter and Baskia:
How selfish of me, to think that I was the only one who suffered through this. Just look at both of them. They look exhausted, Baskia leg is wounded and Veter most likely has broken ribs. Yet I am fine. I know what happened and I have no right to feel like I was alone. Because I never was.
Veter: "Raion I need you to go back to holding korons wound."
Raion: "Fuck! That's right we can't have him die. Shit!"
Baskia and Veter let out a slight chuckle.
Raion: "What? why are you laughing at a time like this?!"
Veter and Baskia: "It's just good to have you back to your normal self. That's all."
Raion rushes back over to Koron and presses his hands firmly on top of Korons wound.
Raion: "Let's just get out of here and save Fourth."
