WHISH! The Trickshooter's bullet bounced off a wall and pierced through Jaiden! It hit him while he was still in the middle of the roll!

"W-What the-!?" Jaiden exclaimed. "How is that even...!?"
It was surreal! How did that dude even aim the shot like this!? It's as if that Trickshot was a tracking missile! It was cheat-level stuff!
Of course, there were no hacks involved. It was pure skill. Lars was that kind of a sniper.
Crap, I'm literally shaking here. Jaiden looked at his palm in disbelief. Shivers ran across his arms as he reflected on what had just happened. It was as terrifying as it was exciting!
This sent Jaiden back a year ago to that fateful StormBlitz vs. Leopards scrim between second-strings. That was where he witnessed Gunz's performance for the first time.
That match was so absurd it single-handedly made Jaiden come to terms with the fact that he didn't get into StormBlitz. He stood no chance against monster-level competition like that. The death just now reminded him of it.
But it wasn't over yet. Even though he died, his two friends were still on the scene.
"Damn, for real!?" Nash exclaimed. "Okay, let's go, Rio! We gotta avenge Jai!"
"No, we should retreat," Rio argued. "He destroyed our formation. It's only going to get harder from here."
Nash raised an eyebrow. "Huh? What do ya mean 'retreat'? His ult is over, now is the time to kick his ass! It's a 2v1!"
"Not for long," Rio said as he drew a path on the mini-map. "Their DK is coming from there."
"Oh, shoot! You're right!" Nash realized. "One of the wards did show him passing by. Okay fine. Let's scram."
And so, they tactically retreated from the area. Yes, it was nothing more than a tactical retreat, okay? It's not like they were running for their lives or anything lame like that.
"Dang, they're running away!" Lars reported. "Man, I bet I could've gotten another kill there. Oh well."
"........." Luke and Vincent could only respond to that with blank stares. After all, what could they possibly respond with to this absurdity? Lars just fought 1v3 against the strongest trio in the region, and he came on top! But, even then, he wasn't satisfied.
Just how greedy is this guy!? Luke couldn't believe it.
