Once things got settled with Lydia, Davis plopped back into the chair again as he heaved a heavy sigh of relief.
With Lydia's matter finally over, Davis felt like he was finally free for the time being. There was no other priority matter regarding security to attend to at the top of his head, nor did he want to make the atmosphere sad by bringing up Clara's conversation.

He didn't think the Celestial Transcendent would allow schemers to exist in his family, considering he imagined that they were tight-knit from Anastasia Archus's memories that he managed to see vaguely.
Fiora walked towards him but went around him and grasped his shoulders, starting to massage him.
Davis reached out his hand and placed it on the back of Fiora's hand.
