Stella landed on the surface of the mountain against the stone, her feet brushing against it. She straightened and slowly turned her head, eyes sweeping across her surroundings.
It was different than the place she last remembered.
What had once been a barren stretch of mountains filled with spatial energy was now a dense mountain forest, layers upon layers of towering ancient trees rising toward the skies. Verdant canopies overlapped, blotting out most of the light, while thick undergrowth sprawled across the slopes.
Spiritual flora flourished everywhere, some glowing faintly with elemental hues, others exuding rich vitality that caused the air itself to feel heavy and moist.
Magical beasts of all kinds lurked within the forest, yet none dared to approach.
