Her voice was filled with relief as she looked at the fortress below.
The faces of others were also smudged with unmistakable smiles. Their fortress was still there. Nothing had happened. They were so anxious and suspicious that they had thought something had happened to the fortress since they hadn't met with any trouble during their journey.
Utmost, they had their routes blocked by bandit supreme geniuses who wanted to make a profit in these tumultuous times of the secret realm. Some would wait until the last moment to leave, but the more they traversed the Shard Regions, the fewer and fewer people they chanced upon.
The vast secret realm was now abandoned by humans and everyone alike except the denizens of this world.
