The Azure Emperor set down his teacup and looked at her. "Since you wish to see them, then go! But these two must accompany you." His gaze shifted to his two disciples standing nearby.
Yue'er looked at her master, then glanced at her two brothers. After a moment's thought, she nodded. "Very well."
"The sky has grown dark today. We shall go tomorrow! I need to rest. You should return to your cave abodes as well." The Azure Emperor gestured for them to go back to their own cave abodes.
"Yes, Master." The three replied before rising to leave.
After exiting the cave abode, the three walked back along the path. They sat down at the stone table outside the cave entrance and took out their communication jade tablets to send a message to Mother, inquiring about the situation and their return.
Soon, Mother's message came back. They listened carefully and silently memorized it. After a while, they sent their reply and began discussing among themselves.
