An unprecedented "battle" had ended. The civilians broke through the defenses of the Grand Cathedral, and the priests, once high and mighty, were dragged out from the church to bear the people's wrath. The accumulated anger of the civilians was unleashed, and justice seemed to have been served. Everything appeared to have settled.
But for the leaders and planners of all this, there was still much to be done in the aftermath.
