EMBER : LEGACY OF THE FORGOTTEN

Ember: Legacy of the Forgotten Kael Ember got something from his grandfather that's really strange. It is a flame that does not burn. This flame was doing something for a long time before Kael was even born. Kael Ember grew up without any powers in a world where most people have superhuman abilities. People call these abilities Kai. Ninety percent of the people in the world have Kai. The only thing his grandfather left him is the Ember Core. It is a thing that can store and combine any power. His grandfather did not get a chance to tell him how to use it. Some bad people from the group Ouroboros. Killed his grandfather. When this happened Kael found a message that changed everything. The message said: "Do not trust the Academy." Kael has no powers and no one to protect him. The group Ouroboros is looking for him. So he goes to the Nusantara Academy. This is the place where he might find some answers. At the academy he meets some people. There is Lina. She is his friend from when he was a kid. She can heal people. She cannot heal herself. Then there are Raka and Kirana. They are rivals. They can control fire and ice. They are always fighting with each other. He also meets Maya. She is a girl who can stop any power. When she touches the Ember Core she starts crying. Kael and his friends go on a journey. They travel across the ocean through the deserts and into the forests. They even go to a castle in Europe that only appears when the moon is full. As they find old things they get closer to the truth. Kaels grandfather was hiding something. The Ember Core is not a tool. It is one of the twelve Genesis Artifacts. These artifacts can change humanity. Kaels grandfather was not a hero. He used to be part of the group Ouroboros. He knew the leader of the group, the Emperor. He chose Kael to be his successor. He did not choose Kael because he was strong. He chose him because he was the one who could handle the bad things that come with the Ember Core. Kaels friends start to get hurt one by one. Lina goes into a coma. Kael has to think about something he never thought about before. Why did his grandfather choose him to carry this burden? Why did he choose someone without powers? Lina says something in her sleep. She says: "I am not human, Kael. I am Genesis. I was made to protect you or to kill you." There is something in the ocean something in the mountains and something, inside Kael. All these things are waiting for something to happen. In the end Kael has to make a choice. He can be a hero or a bad person. He has to save a world that never accepted him. Kael Ember has no powers. He got something much more dangerous. He got a truth that was never meant to be found.
