Frieren: A Journey of the Demon King
Ash, the MC, was reincarnated, as usual. And even became a demon with outstanding talent and an exceptionally long lifespan.
Although from the moment he was born he became an orphan with both parents still alive, forced to fend for himself, needing to be wary of both his own kind and humans, it did not matter. At least when he suddenly turned three, he gained a system. Even if that system turned out to be unexpectedly hard to use.
Still, it sent him back into the past, letting him befriend Frieren and become the junior disciple of the founder of human magic. But he soon discovered that this friend held no small prejudice against demonkind.
It was fine. Thankfully, the cousin he had known since birth, Aura, had already made a name for herself. It was just that… he used to order her around a lot when they were young, so their relationship was a little umm... subtle.
That was not the biggest problem either. He even met the strongest hero, although, he died a bit too early.
Bouncing back and forth between humans and demons like this, he gradually realized that neither side was really reliable.
“There’s no helping it. I’ll just have to rely on myself.”
He set a new life goal for himself: kill the current Demon King and become the new Demon King. At least, that was the plan.
