Mass Effect: Adaptive Predator

Writer_Writer
When a software developer from our world dies, he doesn't meet an end—he wakes up on a cold metal table in the Mass Effect universe. He's no hero; he's a Cerberus test subject trapped on the criminal station Omega, and his only hope for survival is a cryptic AI in his head: the IDA System. This System doesn't just give quests and track levels. It allows him to absorb, equip, and even synthesize the DNA of the aliens he encounters. To survive, he must evolve, slotting in everything from Vorcha Regeneration to Krogan Blood Rage. But as he becomes a powerful alien hybrid, he faces a far greater problem: he knows the Reapers are coming, and a mysterious curse turns his every warning into absurd, harmless nonsense.

The Dragons and their allies waged war against the Eldan empire, leading to the third galactic war. The Eldans were defeated, and spared from extinction by being exiled to the continent of Helleny in their birth planet of Depheron. They were forbidden from ever appearing in the galaxy again. Thousands of years have passed since then, and an Eldan has risen to defy the order of the Dragons and their endorsed rulers of the Galaxy. But to stand against the might of the new galactic empire and the more powerful Dragons would require more than mere determination or a large army. It would also require the even more difficult and mythically impossible breakthrough to the unknown realm of Supreme Overlord which the Primordial Luminary attained countless eras past...
