Imperfect Ascension
Searching for answers regarding his parents deaths, Christopher is thrust into the dangerous work of being a vigilante when his closest friend Akira comes to him for help. The boy possesses traits of genius, but he is only human. He must learn to survive and build strength to bring about change. His purpose.
Akira's history blurred with many mistakes regrets and unanswered questions, as an Astra, he was once a test subject of the military. He was a superhuman, one who was meant to become a weapon instead of a person. Akira wishes to live as a normal person, in a world where he is not allowed to. His identity, his only foundation in the ever changing world.
To uncover the secrets of their current system of rulership, the two must overcome the obstacles in their way, and learn to work together.
Blyke, once in the same situation as Akira, decides the world is far better off without corruption at its roots and intends to fix the world instead of saving it. Using his inherited power he storms on a warpath against the government. His will forged in the crucible of his past, and tempered by his sister's declining health. His choice.
Many forces in the world are at play. None objectively right or wrong.
What matters most is the values and principles set.
☆Note from Zen (the author)~
The writing in my first volume may not be good, but as my first novel, I will see it out to completion.
Yes there are three main Characters and there will be three main POVS throughout the story.
Lastly.... this novel may not be the most original as its creator I can admit that. It heavily draws inspiration from various other works such as 'The Author's POV', 'The Beginning After The End' and even 'Shadow Slave', and in no way do I think this novel compares to any of the above masterpieces.
If you would consider reading it and especially you like it, my team and I value your feedback immensely, so consider leaving a comment or a review.
Thank You for Taking the time to read.
