I was a hero 2,000 years ago but things changed
This is a short story about The life of a Young man named, Krillin.
When he was young, he became a hero of a large kingdom after slaying a dragon with the magic from his hands.
A few years after, Krillin raided a dungeon where rumours of a flock of goblins planning mischief within.
Being the hero he was, Krillin went through the dungeon and slaughtered countless goblins and eventually the large goblin leader.
The body if the leader started to fade away into Ash. 'ding'. A small Gem appeared on the stone floor of the dungeon.
Krillin's interest peaked and he picked the gem up. He pocketed the Gem and walked for the exit.
As he walked he began feeling sleepy and stumbled to the floor.
He fell unconscious.
When he awoke, He felt different. His hands instinctively search his pockets for the Gem but its no where in sight.
krillin's chest feels weird as his heart is no longer beating.
when he was unconscious, The Gem activsted freezing his heart and blood making a new found magic flow as his blood.
Krillin is freaked out with this feeling.
He exited the dungeon and continued living his life and years pass. Everyone around him is aging and becoming old and gray but Krillins has remained the same.
Centuries pass. Many Generations cone and go, Everyone Krillin befriends ends up dying from old age or natural causes.
As the years fly by, krillin locks himself within a cave and has lived in it for many years. not seeing the light of day, He lost the concept if time and hit away as the world around him changed.
All Krillin knows now for definite is the Gem has made him immortal to age. Seeing everyone age and die around him all these years as he doesn't age feom his twenties Horrified him.
Unexpectedly Two Thousand Years pass and Keillin has been living in the cave for One thousand and seven hundred years(1,700).
Whay fate lies ahead for Krillin.
Will he ljve forever or Will he find away to break the Gem and be able to age like every ordinary human being and life on the planet.
